Position: Social Media Specialist / Manager
Department: Media & Communications Department
Report to: Social Media Lead

The Social Media Specialist / Manager on the corporate Media & Communications team will strengthen strategic partnerships with internal stakeholders and external partners. Their efforts will result in maximizing the House’s social media presence across the platforms in Japan, reinforcing brand equity and engaging local audiences.

The successful candidate will be fluent in English and Japanese as they will be working directly with the internationally arrived Social Media Lead. They will support their work with the platforms, agency partners, the Corporate teams and the three divisions (Fashion, Fragrance & Beauty, Watches & Fine Jewelry), both in Japan and globally. They will help define and develop strategic projects and documents, coordinate planning, governance and amplification calendars with other key stakeholders, advancing hand-in-hand with the CRM, Integrated Media and Research & Insights teams. They will also recruit, manage, and supervise the recurring internship position.

They should bring a willingness to build bridges across cultures, languages, and platforms. This role provides front-row exposure to social media strategy development and focuses on the organic side with a strong awareness of the paid social elements.

The title, position level and pertaining benefits will be based on previous experience and level of expertise. This will be approached on an individual bases during the recruitment process.

応募資格の概要

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Developing and implementing initiatives linked to the strategic development of the House’s presence on social media platforms in Japan.
-Preparing presentations and pitch documents.
-Coordinating calendars, budgets, governance, reporting.
-Overseeing a new governance with internal stakeholders and external partners.
-Ensuring all three-divisional planning tools and calendars are up to date, with meticulous attention to detail.
-Tracking the evolution of local content consumption and compiling best practice examples.
-Following and organizing the compilation of regular reporting and the tracking of KPIs for each of the team’s major initiatives.
-Overseeing the Social Media Assistant’s work and day-to-day operational tasks.

PROFILE:
-The Social Media Specialist / Manager must demonstrate a clear understanding and interest in major local and global platforms: LINE, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Apple Music.
-Previous experience and technical knowledge of LINE’s business features is an advantage.
-Demonstrates a strong work ethic, team spirit and willingness to learn; enthusiasm is a must, as are excellent communication skills.
-Ability to interpret, prioritize and deliver actions with a sharp attention to detail.
-Ambition to work within a fast-paced environment.
-Interest in the Fashion, Fragrance & Beauty and Watches & Fine Jewelry industries.
-Degree or masters level education.
-Full professional fluency in written and spoken English and Japanese.
