o City Head / Managing Director (Direct report)
o Regional Head APAC – Meetings & Events (Functional report)
Responsibilities:
• Perform sales of Meetings & Events spaces including: Initial telephone inquiry, tour of meeting
facilities, preparation of quotation, follow-up calls, closing of sale and preparation of
agreement
• Take responsibility for the sales and marketing of the relevant spaces in your location,
including pricing, promotions, brand image
• Make sales calls a daily activity, adopting a disciplined approach
• Coordinate all details required to ensure that a client event is executed flawlessly
• Work closely with the operations team to ensure the setup is arranged according to client’s
requirement
• Market research to identify new business opportunities
• Implement sales and marketing initiatives as set out by immediate supervisors and M&E
leadership team
• Secure client retention by maintaining accurate account records and in turn understand client’s
needs
• Build strong, long lasting relationships with clients and members
• Embrace culture of member upselling and constantly looking to better serve our members
• Maintain CRM system up to date to ensure accuracy of results, sales figures and data
• Database management including:
o Meetings & Events clients (previous and existing) inquiries
o Comprehensive competitor database
o Building tenants and contact points
• Prepare forecasting and budgeting reports, as well additional reports upon request
• Provides accurate sales reports and data to management regularly as required
• Provides regular feedback to direct manage and leadership team, on changing market
conditions, price, new products, new market competition etc.
