The role has two main responsibilities.
One is assistant to General Manager, HR&GA such as arranging meetings and coordinating oversees travels by working closely with assistants including assistants in other countries.
Another responsibility is company-wide social commitment activities. As a responsible company, CHANEL needs consistency of approach on the social impact we create.
Work as a member of global social commitment community, discuss and develop the strategy and actions of CHANEL Japan with General Manager, HR & GA and the members of General Affairs Dept.
It is a good step to learn HR function and company, and experience to work with global and local stakeholders, especially for the social commitment agenda.
Main tasks:
Assistant to GM
-Schedule meetings, book meeting rooms, send invitation
-Coordinate oversees travels for GM, HR&GA
-Support the offsite meetings such as finding location, negotiating with facilities, arranging refreshment and meals.
-Develop meeting materials with GM’s instruction and advice.
-Support non-Japanese employees such as visa application process and be a contact person for international schools.
Social Commitment
-Collect the information of other companies and social trends.
-Discuss with GM and GA Dept. for developing the strategy and actions.
-Increase the awareness of our employees.
-Collaborate with global social commitment community,
