Dear Yoichi,

We hope you are well.

Following on from our last English Schools email update of 7th January, we have even more fantastic news to share with you.

The UK government announced on Monday that, from 11th February, NO MORE TESTS are necessary for fully vaccinated travellers and all those under 18 arriving in the UK.

And in even better news, from 11th February, there is NO MORE QUARANTINE for anyone, including those travellers arriving in the UK who are classed as non-vaccinated.  All they have to do is take a test before they travel and then a pre-booked PCR test once they arrive in the UK but they won’t have to self-isolate while they wait for their results.

Everyone will still have to complete a simplified version of the online Passenger Locator Form.

In North America, we are delighted to announce that by 31st January all of our schools will have returned to face to face teaching.

The US Government now only requires fully vaccinated travellers to take a lateral flow test 24 hours before arrival into the country, with no quarantine required on arrival.

In Canada, from 15th January, fully vaccinated students with study permits are now allowed to study at any designated learning institution in Canada.

This means that, excitingly, there is now only some minor testing requirements for some travellers and nothing stopping fully vaccinated or junior students coming to our schools so we look forward to seeing you and your students very soon.

To help you decide which school to send your students to, we have provided you with the latest update and summary of entry requirements into each country.
