ご縁があって 生まれて初めて ディベート のジャッジしてきました。
1ラウンド目 緊張したけど ２ラウンド目からは、落ち着いて ディベートの試合 楽しめました。
しかし、こんなコンペティションがあるって全く知りませんでした。
3人 1チームで 18チームの参加がありました。
地区予選があって、日本代表 東南アジア大会 世界大会 決勝戦は アメリカのイェール大学であるそうです。
女子高が多かったんだけど、みんな英語上手で可愛い。
By some wonderful缘 (en – a karmic connection/fate), I had the chance to judge a debate for the very first time.
I was nervous during the first round, but from the second round onwards, I calmed down and really enjoyed the debate matches. However, I had absolutely no idea that such a competition existed.
There were 18 teams participating, with 3 members per team. Apparently, there are regional preliminaries, and the Japan representative goes on to the Southeast Asian tournament, then the world tournament, with the final round being held at Yale University in the US.
There were many girls’ high schools participating, and all the girls were good at English and so cute!
